School Days Out in Bristol

Spend the day with us at the Wild Place Project

Whether you are looking for a fun-filled day, or just a couple of hours out of the classroom, we'll give them a fantastic range of activities that they will really benefit from.

Our adventure centre is set within the beautiful Wild Place project, where we offer Team Games, Situation Survival and many climbing activities on our amazing "Leap of Faith" High Ropes course.

Leap of Faith High Ropes Course:
The part everyone looks forward to, 12 auto-belayed climbing activities on our outdoor walls including 'Hang tough', 'Leap of faith', 'Totem Pole' and the 'Wolf Wall'. The course also includes Bristol's only giant 3G swing, the most popular activity on the course! Depending on numbers, there is the opportunity to do the Crate Stack Challenge and Team Totem Pole.

Team Challenge
Children are set many classic problem-solving challenges such as the Raging River, Spiders Web, Defuse the Bomb, Marble run and more. These games encourage the development of teamwork, problem solving and communication skills in a fun outdoor environment. As they complete the challenges they collect parts of a go kart and they compete to build and race it.

Situation Survival
Can the children survive this hot air balloon crash? An exciting orienteering & problem solving challenge, where  communication is key as children work together cracking codes and completing puzzles to locate key survival items. They then build a shelter and demonstrate their fire lighting skills. - Excellent for maths, reasoning skills and prefect.

With prices from just £350(Plus VAT) to come to you or £16.50 per head(Plus VAT) to come to us, lets build the adventure together! For further information please email or call Chris on 07891 637 8993

"I took a group of sixty 10-11 year olds for their end of primary school trip. Leap of Faith was fantastic: well organised, inclusive, memorable and exciting. Chris and the team were great and the children all came away with really positive memories of the day. I particularly loved how nobody ever had to sit around like you have with some high ropes courses, everyone was constantly doing something. Everyone's favourite activity was the big swing. It was different and great fun!"

Let us Bring The Adventure to You

Over the last three years we have provided amazing adventure activities for loads of schools in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Here are a few:

Situation Survival
Can the children survive this hot air balloon crash? An orienteering & problem solving challenge, where children work together to locate key survival items and complete puzzles, before building a shelter and using fire lighting skills.

Build the bridge
To cross the crevasse, pupils need to build a bridge using the poles and rope provided, then work their way carefully across, one at a time.

Eggs in Space
Small teams compete, plan, build and launch an egg as far as possible, without the egg breaking! The children love this activity!

Human table football
Giant inflatable table football game with players attached to a pole. Just like table football but on a massive scale.

Go Kart
Pupils work in small teams to build a go kart from the kit provided. It’s a race to build and then race the other teams and see if construction is up to formula 1!

Bubble Football
Great fun for older children as they bounce off each other in these inflatable footballs.

Teepee Build
Work together to build the giant tepee, whittle pegs and enjoy some team challenges inside.
